Is the space between the pegs big enough for champagne bottles?

hi. the space i am looking at using these, allow for a 7 bottle and 5 bottle configuration. If I bought a 12 bottle one, can I modify, cut it into 2 parts?

But you can not make it longer. It does not like the lego that you can make in any size or shape.Custom-built implies you may choose the dimensions of the rack.
