QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
Ask a Question-
Hi there. Can we assemble the rack in a different configuration than intended? For example could we make a 3x5 rack out of the 4x4 pack? We are trying to fit a rack into a particular space. Thanks.
Hi Tonia,
Custom-built implies you may choose the dimensions of the rack. You cannot order racks of smaller dimensions (for example 1x1 configuration) and piece them together manually.
The wine racks come in two parts: timber rack and metal piecesYou could cut the metal pieces shorter to fit the space. But you can not make it longer. It does not like the lego that you can make it any size or shape. Thanks, -
Dear Sir/Madam, I am interested in knowing more about the type of wood used in the different types of 'Classic Timber Wine Racks': https://www.kingsbottle.com.au/collections/wine-racks/products/classic-timber-wine-rack?variant=31956666810483 I am weighing the following three options: (1) natural finish, (2) mahogany finish and (3) rustic hardwood finish. In terms of the quality of wood, I wondered which of the above three options has the highest quality? I'm assuming that the natural finish wood uses basic pine wood? Does the mahogany finish use real mahogany wood? I get the impression that the rustic hardwood uses actual hardwood? Thank you. Kind regards, Paul
Hi Paul,
Rustic Hardwood Finish is the best quality.
Please refer to the details of the timber slats
Natural Finish: solid pine wood
Mahogany Finish: solid pine wood with brown oil painted
Black Finish: solid pine wood with black oil painted
Rustic Hardwood Finish: solid Mahogany wood -
Hi there, Is it possible to stack 2 6x6 on top of each other. Thanks
Hi Narelle,
Thank you for reaching out to us. Our wine racks are designed to be stackable using connector clips. For stacking two 6x6 configuration wine racks (each 6 holes wide and 6 holes high), you would arrange them into a 6x13 configuration by adding an extra row after connecting the two units. Please note that you will need 14 connector clips to securely join the racks together. For detailed instructions on assembling a larger rack system, please refer to our Wine Rack Assembly Instruction guide. Thanks,
